Constructing Dreams: A Journey of Empowering Guatemala's Future Through Education

Education has always been a vital part of empowering communities and creating a brighter future. In Guatemala, children face many obstacles that can hinder their academic success. One such barrier is the lack of proper facilities for students to eat and socialize during lunch breaks. We at Otishi, a brand built on humanitarian values, are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of these children.

The Need for a Lunchroom at San Vicente Primary School

Current Conditions

San Vicente Primary School in Guatemala is an example of a school that lacks a proper lunchroom for its students. While the school has classrooms for learning, students don't yet have a designated space to eat and relax during their lunch breaks.

Impact on Students and Teachers

This lack of a lunchroom has negative consequences for both students and teachers. It can lead to students skipping meals, which affects their concentration and overall academic performance. Furthermore, teachers are unable to gather with students for large activities or foster a sense of community within the school.

RISE: Taking Action for a Better Future

San Vicente School Lunchroom

Joining Hands to Reach the Goal

The Power of Collective Efforts

It's essential for individuals and organizations to come together in support of projects like the San Vicente Primary School lunchroom. With collective efforts, we can make a significant impact on the lives of students and teachers in Guatemala.

$1500 to Change Lives

RISE still needs an additional $1500 to fully fund the construction of the lunchroom. With your help, we can reach this goal and provide San Vicente Primary School with a much-needed space for meals and activities.

The Lasting Impact of the Lunchroom

Enhanced Learning Environment

A new lunchroom will not only provide students with a place to eat but also improve their overall educational experience. Proper nutrition and a comfortable environment contribute to better concentration and academic performance.

A Space for Connection and Community

The lunchroom will also serve as a gathering space for students and teachers, fostering a sense of community and unity within the school. This shared space can help strengthen relationships, create lasting memories, and improve morale.

The Power of Education in Empowering Guatemala's Future

Investing in education is crucial for the future of Guatemala. By supporting projects like RISE's lunchroom initiative, we can empower the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. Together, we can build a brighter future for the children of Guatemala.

Otishi is proud to support RISE and their mission to empower the lives of children through education. By constructing a lunchroom for San Vicente Primary School, we can help create an environment that promotes learning, community, and growth. With your help, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these students and contribute to a brighter future for Guatemala.

  1. How can I contribute to RISE's lunchroom project for San Vicente Primary School?

You can contribute by donating directly to RISE, spreading the word about the project, or purchasing Otishi footwear, which supports RISE and other charitable initiatives.

  1. How long will the lunchroom construction take?

The construction timeline will depend on several factors, including the availability of funds and resources. The way that construction works in guatemala, is that the contractors work as they get the money. Because of that, there has already been construction on the school. So, the faster we can gather the money for RISE, the faster the school is finished.

  1. How will the lunchroom impact the local community?

The new lunchroom will provide a space for students to eat, socialize, and participate in larger activities. This will not only improve their educational experience but also foster a sense of community among the students, teachers, and local residents. A strong community is essential for creating a supportive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
